Don't Live Here: Terrible Managment
I have stayed here for 4 years and have nothing but problematic things to illustrate.
About 3 years ago, after my AC unit went out a total of 7 times in the span of 3 months, they came to fix it every time. I appreciate that. However, whenever I arrived back home on a business trip in the summer, the AC was out. To be clear, they had just came and fixed it the week before I left and I left the AC on 77. I was told to call the emergency line and when I did, which was the maintenance on site... staff that fixed it, they hung up upon answering. After that, I went into the apartment complex the next day to discuss the issue. My issue, to be clear, was less so about the AC but that I have medication that needs to be stored at room temperature (around 77 degrees). The unit was 87 degrees, and I was told "oh no, you signed a lease. The lease clearly says that if it's 88 degrees then someone will come and fix it." I think that this glosses over the problem which is that a.) I came home at night and b.) I'm not entirely sure what the emergency line is supposed to be used for then.
Today, I was locked out of my house. However, I arrived back at the complex around 5:10. The apartment complex is current undergoing renovations, which means that they had to relocate the leasing office. Whenever you go into the complex, they have 1 sign that indicates where to go for the leasing office. This sign only has one arrow. Whenever you try and follow the arrow there is not another sign indicating where to go (I.e., it's like a wild goose chase). I then call the emergency line where they indicate that a.) the apartment staff is out for the day which they did not communicate [I checked my emails and the person on the line even indicated that there was sporadic communication or varied communication sent to residents in a fragmented manner [some got a notice via paper, some got an email] b.) the woman on the emergency line indicated that that was a maintenance issue and that she couldn't help me c.) maintenance was next to my apartment unit drinking and when I tried saying something they ignored me.
If you're looking to move her, don't. There's too many issues with the complex that they're clearly negligent about, operationalize business speak talk, and don't materialize any solution for issues absent a.) blaming the resident(s) or b.) operationalizing 0 recourse in any manner to help. The temporal price hikes aren't worth it.
