Just don’t live here. Any student housing is better than this place. It’s cheap for a reason… they will fine you for literally everything. This place will milk you for money. They failed me for my cleaning checks twice over 2 pieces of tissue in my garbage can. When I called, they said I could get a recheck for 25$ and that I was failed because they said the trash bags had to be completely empty. So now I’m out 50$ over 2 pieces of tissue. It’s also next to the freeway so be prepared to be up... all night. Management basically told me it was their word against mine since they don’t take pictures of why they’re failing you. Lee mas

So I had honestly both good and bad experiences here, but I genuinely would recommend avoiding this place if possible. The place itself is fine, management is not though

As honest of a review as possible:

The good:

Really close to the university, maintenance was really good at responding to and handling requests or repairs within the apartment BEFORE renovations, the other residents have been really nice and good for the most part.

The bad:

Management is terrible (Debi to be specific), I... happened to be the resident present during the renovations and it was honestly just issue after issue. For the most part they were good about notifying us when things were happening but they should've really given us partial payments back because half of our apartment wasn't usable through the duration of the remodel. People were in and out of the apartment for weeks, banging and making construction noises the whole time.

Management also falsely accused my whole apartment of possessing firearms where we all had to report to the office (I personally worked during this time so had to take work off) and threatened to call the police and said they weren't afraid to have people arrested. Only to later apologize that they had the wrong apartment entirely.

After renovations they did walkthroughs of any issues, I was home when they did our walk through and told the lady of both a leak in the plumbing from when they remodeled the bathroom as well as touch ups needed in my room, 1.5 months later these werent taken care of.

They also get really pushy about moving out before the end of your contract so they can get new tenants in, just take it and get out if you do, if you say no they will keep asking you to over the next few weeks and bugging you to.

Their cleaning checks are also really intense, we got docked and had to pay a fee because there were some crumbs left on the magnetic strip of the inside door of the fridge amongst other things. From what I heard they plan on making these more frequent due to the remodel as well.

Lastly, I did have my bike stolen on the premises which was never addressed or acknowledged by them. Police were great though and helped me file a report.

Again if you can find another option for the same price or even slightly more, take it and don't stay here. Lee mas

Terrible place to live and management is even worse. Have you move on finals day while your roommate have longer to move, thinks are constantly broken and take fixing, moved in and several things were broken within the room (drawers, doors, walls peeling, etc.) and I took out several garbage bags of the previous tenants' clothes and trash out, super loud since you are right up against the freeway.
