It's 3 miles to Millcreek Canyon, 3.8 miles to Neffs Canyon, 14 minutes to downtown SLC, 17 minutes to Salt Lake International Airport, and 30 to 37 minutes to Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton ski resorts. A short walk will take you to groceries, restaurants, and a local library with a playground. A quick drive will take you to trailheads and canyon hikes. Public transportation is available but limited.
