Trophy Club at Bellgrade

Great place to live, lots within walking distance!

Residents are nice, grounds are clean, excellent clubhouse with fitness center, hot tub, swimming pool, doggie park.

They have separate buildings for those who smoke and non-smoking buildings, some buildings have animals and some are designated pet-free so there’s something for everyone. All have beautiful water views, nice layouts.

They have proactive maintenance that change your air filters and help onsite if anything is needed. The... management is excellent and all staff are courteous to help you, can email needs, go through your portal, or attain onsite at the clubhouse Monday-Saturday. Great prompt communication to everyone.

Neat events like cookouts, 50’s music and dance party, picnic, pool parties, bingo, food trucks (Bring Backo Taco) and hot popcorn!

You can walk across the street to grab coffee, go to the grocery store at Kroger, restaurants, the bank, postal service, hair salons, Walgreens, and more!

Location is wonderful here at Trophy Club. Apartments in appearance are very nice. HOWEVER, there are many issues which maintenance is slow to fix or the management just ignores. Pipes click and make noise when you or your neighbors run water, business center is outdated as far as computers. They're old and rarely ever work or have updates so it's useless. Grounds are well kept. Neighbors are very friendly but floors are super thin and you can hear people walking, jumping, telling and phones etc... from other apartments as if it's your own. Good for a temporary place but it needs a lot if improvement for the amount they charge per month. Not worth it. They also restrict you to using their internet and cable service which has outages too often and when it does, just so happens the office phones go down too so you can't call for assistance. Would be nice if clubhouse or at least business center were open 24 hrs with working computers. They have limited hours as well. Inspect your apartment thoroughly before move in because we had things literally falling off and apart after move in. The first week. As if maintenance did a quick paint and didn't fix anything from previous tenants. The maintenance is probably one of the biggest negatives here. They're not too good or knowledgeable at fixing things especially on the first call. Lee mas

For a family of 6 (4 kids included) safety and cleanliness was a priority for us. My husband would work away from home a lot so safety was a concern of mine when renting from a distance. This neighborhood is kid and pet friendly. Residents are on the older side so noise levels are always quiet and peaceful. The grounds are always clean and staff was always eager to fix anything, even if it was just mentioned in passing. Our only complaint with this place was the internet service was a little... slow for us (we are an extremely techie family), and no playground within the community (they should tear down that decommissioned tennis court and build a playground instead). Conveniently located near shoppings and highways. I would totally recommend this place for anyone! Lee mas

I have lived at Trophy Club for 4.5 years and have loved it. However, the present office person Lisa is very rude. It is impossible to enjoy the amenities because she talks in a very loud voice with absolutely no consideration of the renters.

This is the second time I was not able to take advantage of the WIFI that is an amenity that is supposed to be available to everyone who lives there because of the staff. Lisa talks so loudly that audio can't even be heard with headphones on the other... side of the room.
The first time was 6 months ago. I was told then that I could go to my apartment if I did not like it. Having to use the WIFI again today, I enquired if it would be possible for us to share the space for an hour or two. I was told that she would not be able to lower her voice so we can all enjoy the space even while recognizing that I do pay rent to use the space too. Then she refused to discuss anything any longer and walked away from me and started making phone calls, ignoring me and anything else I said.

Over the past 4.5 years, I have been to the club house many times during business hours and have had no problem holding personal and business meetings while the staff talked with prospective renters and otherwise conducted their business.
When I mentioned this to her former manager, Jennifer, she said Lisa can't control how loudly she speaks. I refused to accept that a grown woman has no self control, the manager ultimately agreed. She spoke to Lisa who was then able to speak in a volume so that everyone could enjoy the space.

I find it disheartening to say the least when the staff makes what used to be an enjoyable place to live a horrible experience. The office staff used to be really great. The other two young ladies are wonderful. Trophy Club otherwise is a great place, the apartments are great, grounds well kept, love the lakes with the wild life, maintenance is friendly, fast and efficient.

Just one bad apple is ruining everything. I thought the staff's job was to work for us to enjoy where we live Lee mas
