The office staff is good but the detailed level of noise you hear from your neighbors is awful - beyond the typical apartment noises. There is no soundproofing between units or the floors and ceilings so you can actually hear them going to the bathroom. (Which means they also hear you going to the bathroom). If you are in a building with a garage the stairwells run alongside the bedroom wall, and you hear them going up and down the stairs at any time of day or night. Close to Merrill creek... parkway you hear all the cars. If you want peace and quiet unfortunately this is not the place.

The management charged me for all kinds of replacements and charges when I moved out after living there three years even though I wasn't responsible for any of it. I returned the property in immaculate condition just as it was when I moved in.

Vacating inspection walk through was with Sean and he lied to me that I would not get charged for anything except for carpet cleaning and sanitisation, but when the final bill arrived I was shocked to see all kinds of charges.

Glad I took lots of... pictures before I moved in so I'm able to take them to court.

When I selected this apartment I was so happy that the grounds were clean and the apartment had a quiet and friendly atmosphere. However, it all changed when I was told things that never happened. My utilities were NOT actually included in my rent as it was told to me. Huge Huge Huge fees for being over 3 days late on your rent. If you are more that 2 weeks late, as I was, you are charged almost an equivalent to a full month rent late fee. I was struck by a car at work and was out of work for a... month. L&I paid me 2 weeks late and I was charged a huge late fee. There was no sympathy or compassion from the management at this complex. They forced a so called upgrade on the flooring, fixtures and several other items. These changes were hideous and reflected bad taste. It was more like a downgrade. I have pictures if you'd like. Poor security... there was a paint spill on the lawn outside my back door just over a week ago. The same day I found paint on my back deck handrail and footprints in paint on my back deck. several items moved in my apartment but nothing taken. I reached out to the manager and she showed no concern. She said she'd send someone by to clean up the mess and no one has showed up as of yet. Beautiful grounds here at Merrill creek apartments but your nightmare will be revealed AFTER you sign your 1 year lease. My lease is up in approximately one month and I have plans to Yelp, Google and tell my story on every social and third party review site I know of. I feel ripped off, disrespected and most of all disappointed in the people who I though were true to their word. I have told you a few issue that are wrong with this place. Check yelp or google for more. I tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY from this place... Lee mas
