The Estates at Cougar Mountain Apartamentos

I lived here for three years and experienced multiple serious issues that management never resolved. Cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Maintenance Problems:
Heating never worked properly - no heat during winter months
Refrigerator broke and flooded our room. Bathroom electrical outlets never functioned from day one. Maintenance themselves were great, but these issues still persisted.

Construction Quality:
Walls are paper thin with zero sound insulation
Upstairs neighbors extremely loud at... all hours with no resolution from management
Our child couldn't sleep due to constant noise disturbances

MAJOR SECURITY ISSUES:
Car broken into on property
Packages stolen 5+ times from our door
Management did NOTHING about security concerns

Upon moveout, they sent us a bill for repairs and gave us only two weeks to pay it before sending to collections.

Bottom Line:
Look elsewhere! Between the broken appliances, flooding, no heat, paper-thin walls, and terrible security, this place is not worth your time or money. There are better options out there. Lee mas

Do not sign a lease with The Estates at Cougar Mountain. They initially messed up my application and tried to make it 12 months when my application was for more than that. When I pointed that out to them they tried to blame me but quickly changed their tune when I showed them evidence of my application. They botched the payment plan switch to bilt rewards and there was a month where my automatic payment using the old system stopped working before the bilt system was implemented. They botched... the mail room upgrade and lied to tenants that the problem was solved when it wasn’t. It took months to resolve the issue. They tried to force tenants to pay additional fees for the package room which was not in our leases and they most recently doxxed two other units to me by sending their lease renewals to my home. Just to be fair, one kitchen cabinet door was mounted askew from the day that we moved in. it was more than a visual issue as the door closed in front of the adjacent cabinet. The first attempt at repairing the door was unsuccessful and only temporarily fixed the issue. Subsequently the door hinge froze and broke off when opened. The second repair was done right by removing the door and re-setting the hinge. Excellent job by the second maintenance professional, leaving the door correctly... installed and the area spotless. The Estates Cougar Mountain is a wonderful community. Lots of great dog walker
people very nice neighbors and other than getting no sun on my patio. I love it here!.

The place is wonderful. Jesse and Mariah are great staff members and have done everything we’ve asked with professionalism and friendliness.
