Goldelm at Charter Pointe

Stayed here for a full lease term and the experience was absolutely pisspoor. The place was falling apart, from the fire alarm falling out of the ceiling, paint in the bathtub was coming up, leak in the roof. I’ve called maintenance every month and they only fix things when it’s convenient for them. When I confronted the staff about the these issues, I was told that I have to keep “consistently call maintenance”. And whenever maintenance does come by they never leave a note or anything to… indicate that they were there. The dumpster breaks down every week,so 3-4 days out the week the walkway to the dumpster will be full with trash. Roaches and rats within the units, told the leasing office several times about the roaches and rats for them to do absolutely nothing about the problem. This property is falling apart. The management dont care about the residents or staff . The units have mold and roaches . People breaking in cars and cutting through the patios screen . Not a safe place and not worth the price .

Run down units and a complex where they care more about spending money on signs, landscape and the pool. Meanwhile the buildings are raggedy, the laundry facilities is always broke, trees fall to the ground like rain. Maintenance is always riding around on a golf cart but nothing is being fixed. The office property manager has admitted more than once that they don't even respond to her request when she messages them with emergencies. The cabinets, bathtub, and everything including the kitchen… sink needs to be replaced. Charter Pointe is the one place that gets 75 years out of there appliances. Read More

1. Screened in balconies and patios but what you get is a small slab of cement and ripped up hanging off screen
2. Laundry facility onsite what you get is a nasty laundry room where the washers and dryers are always broke and often over charge your card
3. They waste time trying to give you fines to make more money but they don't fix things and when they do its done like a shade tree mechanic job
4. If any of your appliances stop working because they are so old they can't even get parts for them… and they have to replace, they give you something that looks like they picked it up on the side of the road, then when your lease comes up they jack up your rent
5. They do not maintain their property the buildings have holes and damage so you end up with bugs and water in your unit and they do nothing
6. The trees here are dead and they don't want to spend any money trimming or having them taken down so they just wait for a hard wind or even a sunny day and let them fall to the ground. Note don't park near any or it will be you and your car insurance that pays
7. They constantly send you threatening text about how if you damage there stuff especially around Hurricane season you will be negligent and have to pay, yet they don't maintain their property and when your stuff gets damaged due to their negligence its your problem
8. The pest control is a joke the guy comes and only does a few drops of pesticides in the kitchen and bathroom (around the bottom cabinets only) doesn't do anywhere else and they charge you monthly for this "service"
9. The bathtubs are nasty and they try to resurface them, it last like a week (if you can get them to do it because they will tell you to buy a bath mat) and the tub is back peeling, cracking and cutting your feet while you try to shower Read More
