Waterside at Crane's Roost

This place is in a beautiful location. Steps away from cranes roost park.BUT it is dirty, the paint on the buildings is outdated and rundown, they don’t seem to care about the black mold growing in the AC units, laundry room is always dirty, tennis court is always locked with a locker combination lock. I could go on and on about this place. It’s not a good place to live.

The units are very conveniently placed in the heart of Altamonte Springs. Tons of food, shopping, and leisure within walking distance. The 2/2 unit we rented was deceptively spacious. The bedrooms are a bit small, but the living room space is great. Electric bill is dirt cheap as the buildings were converted to condos from a hotel, so hot water comes from boiler rooms and ac is on a chiller system (you only pay for the fan to run). For our 1000 square foot apartment to hover around 72 degrees... all day, we averaged a $40/month electric bill.

Unfortunately, there seems to be an infestation of bed bugs roaming the property. Shortly after moving in, my wife and I found a couple dozen of the disgusting bugs in our bedroom. After talking with my neighbors, it would seem we are not the first tenants in our building to have the issue and tenants in other buildings have reported it as well. Until the HOA does something to eradicate the bugs from the property rather than leave it to the individual condo owners to put band-aids on the issue, I would highly recommend avoiding this place. Great place to live close to everything and free events at cranes roost. Lots of space inside and each room has its own bathroom. Only downside is bedrooms a little bit smaller not able to fit much furniture in them. Would recommend
