Upon graduating from the ICJC in Kansas, DeWayne joined the U.S. Navy and was honored with the American Spirit Award. After surviving a plane crash and three overseas deployments, he was Honorably Discharged and returned to Kansas State University where he 'tested the real estate market. While attending college he sold twelve homes in his first 45 days and 2 years later he opened the first of five real estate companies. DeWayne knows "what's hot" and "what's not" in the real estate market. To prove it, he was voted a "Five Star Agent" by Gulf shore Life Magazine for eight consecutive years. Having completed over seventy professional real estate and mortgage courses, he encourages all agents to be a Graduate of the Real Estate Institution (GRI) and as a Certified Exchange Counselor (CEC), he also promotes the use of self-directed IRAs to invest in the real estate market. DeWayne obtained his Captains license and has ventured to Key West, Tampa & up the locks to Lake Okeechobee.
