Citigate Apartments

I lived here for a little over two years and my experience was good! The leasing agents are all helpful and friendly and their communication is good about events happening around the property and updates about amenities. They removed the gate, and as a female living by myself, I felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Lots of young families living here.

The only complaint I have is the AC - I lived on the 4th floor with a west facing window and man did it get HOT in my apartment. There were... times during the summer my AC would not get lower than 76 degrees - I wouldn't use the oven or dryer either because that would make it above 80 - even with the ceiling fans on. Despite the maintenance requests I put in regarding this - they informed me simply my AC unit cannot keep up and that there isn't really anything I can do about it - which sucks when I'm paying extra on my electric bill because my AC was constantly running.

So - if you plan on living here, I'd recommend a unit that isn't facing the evening sun or is blocked by trees for some shade. Other than that - my time here was great!! Read More

I recently moved here, and the experience has been positive so far - not perfect, but positive. I moved into a unit with minor issues that needed to be worked on while I was already living there. But I won't let that overshadow the service I have received. From the moment we arrived, Sara Gomez has been delightful and highly diligent. The maintenance team has worked hard to get my issues fixed promptly. The fact that they have food trucks come into the property is convenient. They could do... better with the breezeways - a leaf blower could make them look much better.

The apartments themselves are beautiful and the maintenance is great. Unfortunately, there is a significant trash problem that needs to be addressed. There is trash ALL over the complex-on the sidewalks, the parking lot, the elevators, the stairwell, and the breezeways. People just litter everywhere. It's absolutely disgusting. Dear management-please addresss this. This is such a significant problem I would put up cameras and fine people if I were management here. We pay too much to feel like we... live in a dumpster. We are absolutely in love with our new apartment. We opted for a remodeled apartment on the 4th floor. There is an elevator, but we like the exercise we get from the stairs. We love the sky high view and the fountains are the next best thing to living on the beach. We have slept with our windows and balcony door every night so far. The amenities are amazing. The pool is gorgeous with A landscaping. The outdoor fire pitS are great. The gym is large and has many options. Office staff has been... amazing and very speedy.
