Pelican Pointe Apartments

It's a quaint, quiet complex. I love the apartment. A few minor cosmetic issues that will be addressed. The only real caveat is that it was presented to me as a wheelchair accessible unit but it isn't. I can neither get in nor out of my apartment without assistance and I am currently looking for an organization that can and will provide me with a ramp as mgmnt doesn't seem concerned that they misrepresented the unit. I was also told it was near the bark park but it is located on the other... side of the complex. I am wheelchair bound and these items were top priority. Used to be a great quiet place to live, now its not quiet anymore.

Make sure you give a 60 day notice before your lease is up. If you do not give a notice of moving out even when your lease is up, they charge you at the month to month rate at 100.00 additional and you get stuck there for 2 more months or face a penalty of breaking lease agreements and no deposit back. Make sure you read the lease agreement before signing, do a complete walk through of your apartment before you sign. Check every cupboard and drawer and make sure you move the fridge to see if... there’s evidence of infestation. Roaches are rampant in these apartments, prepare to bring your own roach treatment. Their roach treatment is garbage. 2 cans of Bengal worked wonders. Maintenance is good with their timely manner with repairs, but prepare to clean up behind them. It’s a quiet neighborhood, but everyone is watching your every move. Office people are nice, but it’s difficult to pay rent on your lunch break because they take an hour lunch at the same time. I like the apartment because it's quiet its filled with family oriented people. Its nice area.

I have a small one bedroom apartment. I would like to have more space, but I would like it to be a one story complex apartment. I like my apartment, just like more space for me.
