Muze at Met

I would not recommend living at Muze at Met Downtown based on my experience.

The building presents itself as a luxury apartment community, but the reality fell far short of those expectations. Throughout my lease, I felt that management was much more focused on collecting fees than addressing resident concerns. Between the rent increase, amenity fee increase, common area electricity fee increase, and valet fee increase, the cost of living here rose dramatically while the overall resident… experience did not improve.

When I raised concerns about issues in my apartment, I did not feel that they were taken seriously. Instead of receiving clear communication or a thorough investigation, my concerns were dismissed, which left me feeling frustrated and unheard. Good management should make residents feel comfortable bringing up problems, not discourage them from asking questions.

Communication from management was often disappointing, and interactions felt impersonal and unhelpful. For a building that advertises itself as a luxury community, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, transparency, and customer service.

There are many newer apartment communities in Downtown Miami that offer similar amenities and pricing. If I had to do it over again, I would choose one of those instead.

I would strongly discourage anyone from renting at Muze at Met. When it came time to renew our lease, our total housing costs increased by nearly 20% after rent and additional fees. It wasn't just the rent: valet fee, amenity fees, community electric fee, etc. Any fee that they can raise they will, and they do not care. Being asked to pay thousands more each year would be one thing if the building were well managed, but that has not been our experience. The leasing office interactions often feel… rehearsed and incredibly transactional. One of the biggest ongoing issues is the elevators. There are four elevators in the building, yet during the entire time I've lived here, it has been common for only 1-2 to be operational at any time.
Maintenance, while they generally respond within a few days, routinely asked for positive reviews using QR codes attached to the backs of their phones, which made the review process feel more like a solicitation than a genuine request for feedback. The location also has drawbacks that aren't obvious during a tour. Because of the surrounding high-rise buildings, the pool receives very little direct sunlight. Maybe 3 hours a day if you're lucky. This is not something they will tell you. The area experiences frequent road closures, and concerts at Bayfront Park regularly create significant noise, especially on weekends. Ultra music festival is a nightmare and you will be able to hear it from inside your house. Any festival or concert that happens here (which is at least once a month), if you face Bayfront park you will hear it and they tend to go late. This is also not something that leasing will tell you before signing. The valet service has also been frustrating. If you have a car, your only option is to valet it every day - which is a perk not having to drive up and down parking garage floors every day, BUT Wait times can be extremely long. Overall, the combination of steep rent and fee increases, poor management, recurring maintenance issues, unreliable elevators, and declining resident experience makes it impossible for me to recommend this property. Living at Muze at Met has been one of the most disappointing rental experiences I've had. There are far better options in downtown Miami. I genuinely wish I had chosen one of them.

The elevators are a constant issue. There are four elevators in the building, yet it's common for only one or two to be working. Waiting for an elevator has become part of everyday life, and despite this being an ongoing problem, it never seems to be permanently fixed. Like if you wanna wait forever to do anything… then by all means live here.

During lease renewal, my total housing costs increased by like $500 once rent and the various fee increases were included. Rent wasn't the only thing that went up!! all the other fees go up too. Paying substantially more each year would be understandable if the property were well maintained, but theres so many things wrong with this place that shouldn't be!!

The leasing office has been the most frustrating part of living here. Instead of taking resident concerns seriously, I often felt dismissed, and getting help was far more difficult than it should have been. Customer service is clearly not a priority. The girls in that office are rude and seriously need an attitude check.

Valet service has also been unreliable, with long wait times that can test your patience. Maintenance usually responds within a few days, but repairs don't always resolve the issue. I also found it concerning that technicians routinely asked for reviews immediately after service visits.

There are several other issues prospective residents should know about before signing a lease. The pool receives very little direct sunlight because it's surrounded by high-rise buildings. Road closures in the area are frequent, and concerts at Bayfront Park regularly create loud noise that carries well into the night. Which is fine if youre moving here for the music scene! But just know this going into living here.
