ROACHES
Living here has been a nightmare. For the past six months, our apartment was infested with roaches. We submitted multiple maintenance requests, but the issue was never resolved. Management would claim that someone came to spray, however, there’s been times when I have been home the whole day and no one ever came. Meanwhile, roaches were in our kitchen, bathroom, closets, and personal items. It made living here uncomfortable and unsanitary.
To make matters worse, they charged us an extra $3,000... for not giving 60 days’ notice that we were moving out. While this was technically in the lease, we expected some kind of clear reminder. You’d think they would send a text or at least an email with “URGENT” in the subject line. Instead, it was hidden at the bottom of one of their generic emails — the same kind of messages most people ignore because they send so many irrelevant updates. It’s hard not to feel like this is intentional. They don’t care about communication because they’d rather you miss the fine print and pay the price.
