The District Universal Boulevard Apartments

I’ve been touring apartments around Orlando, and The District at Universal was honestly one of the first places where I could actually picture myself living.

The whole community just has a really cool vibe. It’s a mid-rise property that’s split into two sides with a little street running between them, and having restaurants and shops built right into the first floor is such a nice touch. There’s even a convenience store on the corner, which would make life so much easier. Being able to grab... food or snacks without having to drive anywhere is something I didn’t realize I’d appreciate so much.

The apartments themselves were really nice too. Everything felt modern, clean, and well maintained, and you can tell they take good care of the property. It definitely felt like somewhere I’d be excited to come home to every day.

I also have to give a huge shoutout to Erica, the Property Manager. I had called ahead with a bunch of questions before my tour, and she was super friendly and helpful. What really surprised me was that when I walked into the leasing office, she greeted me by name. That might sound like a small thing, but it honestly made me feel welcomed instead of just being another person touring apartments. Those little details really stick with you.

The location is another huge plus. It feels like you’re close to everything without giving up the feeling of living in a nice community.

I had an amazing experience touring The District at Universal! The location is hard to beat—it’s only about 7 minutes from Universal Orlando, close to the airport, and conveniently surrounded by several shopping centers, restaurants, and everything you need.

The staff here is great! Super helpful and kind. I was looking for a 2x1 and the four was great. Super good area, close to lots of things.

I lived here a few years ago and then moved away to a different city. When I was planning in moving back, I had liked The District so much that I chose to move in here again. The location is great. I like that it has a garage. I like the package locker system. I like the amenities. The layout of the apartment is nice. Those are all still true, but WOW have things changed. The apartment was filthy when I moved in. The floor was so dirty that it turned the bottoms of my feet black and I spent an... entire saturday scrubbing it (when I know, based on my lease, that they charged the previous tenant a cleaning fee at move-out). I have had problems with ants, and last night I found a cockroach crawling into my food. The tub was stained when I moved in. The dishwasher and clothes washer both had damage to them that was not completely rendering them broken, but was concerning. The business center and movie room are closed. Gates are broken. My air conditioner is gushing water and when I called maintenance out the first time, they would not believe me that something was wrong.
