I normally don’t leave reviews, but after months of ongoing issues at Story of Sanford , I feel future residents should be aware of what they may experience.
Since April 2025, my family and I have been dealing with constant, excessive noise from our upstairs neighbors — loud stomping, banging, and late-night disturbances that make it nearly impossible to rest peacefully. We immediately reported the issue to management, who acknowledged the problem and gave us a timeframe for resolution.... Unfortunately, that date passed with no action taken.
Not only has the noise continued, but it has actually become worse after we started making complaints. We have provided repeated documentation and followed all procedures, yet the response from management has now essentially been to “suck it up.” This is not the level of professionalism or tenant care you should expect from an apartment community.
What makes this especially frustrating is that tenants have a legal right to quiet enjoyment of their home. The lack of enforcement or willingness to hold problem tenants accountable reflects poorly on management and the overall living environment here.
If you are considering moving in, I strongly recommend asking very direct questions about how noise complaints are handled and how responsive management actually is once you’ve signed a lease. Our experience has been months of frustration, broken promises, and no meaningful resolution.
Until management takes resident concerns seriously and addresses legitimate quality-of-life issues, I cannot recommend Story of Sanford to anyone looking for a peaceful and professionally managed place to live
