Dear future renters - this complex has a massive termite problem and does not care to do anything about it. I’ve expressed to them multiple times that I haven’t been able to sleep, work, sit on my couch, or shower in my apartment in over a month due to the severe infestation and they haven’t taken action beyond routine pest treatments that haven’t worked. I feel it’s important to share as that is likely reflective of how they handle most issues tenants are dealing with. Termites: Over about four years my wife and I have lived in three different units here and two of them had termite issues. One was an issue right up to the day we moved out. Our current unit had termites appear three times in a couple of months. A termite damaged piece of wood in the bathroom still has never been replaced.
Maintenance: In previous units our AC broke multiple times, but they did fix it. In current unit, we had a sink leak for about a month that was only resolved after submitting... multiple maintenance requests. On the flip side I have had a subcontractor unlock my door and enter my unit while I was home when no request was pending or work scheduled on my unit. Just strolled right in.
Common Areas: The gates are frequently broken. Some of the common areas flood with a moderate rain.
Staff: The staff response to issues is hit or miss, but mostly miss. Grounds crew and some of the office staff have been super helpful and polite in resolving issues. Other staff have taken issues with complete disregard and a "not my problem" approach.
Neighborhood: This is the saving grace for this apartment complex. Post is a short walk from shopping, groceries, parks, the rec sports league, and many great bars. There is even a bike share near the back gate. Read More

Staying here was the worst living experience I have ever had. First, we moved in and the place was a mess. They stated they were going to fix the damages to the walls, sink, closets, etc. and never did. Next, we were in a unit in the back by the bar/nightclub that didn't stop until 3AM. DO NOT LIVE IN THE BACK! When we moved out and paid the balance they said they were remodeling our unit and if they couldn't rent it we would be responsible, but they would not be able to show it because of the... work being done? If you enjoy doing anything around your apartment at 9 am on a Saturday (light cleaning, walking around, etc), don't live here. The management team hands out noise complaints like candy for absolutely no justifiable reasons, nor do they confirm that a tenant is being noisy before doing so. Don't live here.

All of the Post properties are beautiful and well-maintained. This location has two pools, two free on-site car washing bays with vacuum, a community garden, and a gym. The location is unbeatable, situated a short walk from Hyde Park Village and the restaurants and bars of South Howard. Any maintenance requests are handled quickly by friendly and helpful staff. The only issue is that parking can be difficult. Visitor spots are hard to come by, especially on weekends, and anyone without a... resident sticker will be towed.
