DO NOT STAY HERE!!! My husband and I rented a studio unit that was advertised as a 1 bedroom unit for 2.5 months. The dryer was not working upon arrival. We reached out to Studio 940/West Homes to get it fixed. It took them 2.5 weeks to get it fully repaired. While our dryer was under maintenance, we requested to use a dryer from an empty unit. This did not get approved until 1.5 weeks into the issue. To our surprise, the unit with the working dryer was a 1 bedroom unit. Mind you, we had to pay... the 1 bedroom rental price while staying at a studio unit. As repairs on the property were in process, the repairman came into our unit WITHOUT notifying neither me nor my husband. This was apparent because they placed the damp dirty sheets from the washer onto our clean bed while trying to repair the dryer. We now had a week's worth of dirty laundry piling up and no clean place to sleep. We requested compensation multiple times due to the inconvenience and VIOLATION of the rental agreement. However, all we received was “I am sorry and we will speak to the maintenance man regarding his behavior.” Also throughout the stay, my car was constantly blocked in and I could not leave for work in the morning. Lastly, I received a statement from Studio 940/West Homes that they refunded me my security deposit. However, after 2 weeks from moving out, the security deposit still has not been refunded.
