The Halfway Hood

Honestly, my apartment complex has it's ups and downs. It is a small community in the middle of the West End of Atlanta meaning it is definitely not upscale and far from it. You may hear gunshots at night or stories of robberies however I have been there two years, originally from Northern California, and nothing has happened to me. When you become familiar with the area it can be quite homey and you will quickly learn it is truly a community. Schools from Pre-K to University level are all in a... 1-10 mile radius. Midtown and Downtown are only 10 minutes away so you can definitely get out.
