Walton Westside

I hate that this is the only way to get this issue sorted. We came to tour this property on Oct 8th after living at another Walton property for 14 months. We met with Kyle, who is no longer here. We noticed that there were large commercial recycling dumpsters located right along the outside wall of the apartment. We asked how often they get picked up and were told that they pick up every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Kyle told us that the cans are put out before the maintenance team leaves for... the day on a Tuesday & Thursday after 3 pm, Mondays before 8 am and, are collected before noon on collection day. We were told that they are brought back in by the maintenance team right after they are collected.

We moved in on Oct 29th, immediately encountering problems. Our biggest problem was that the trash was and still is today, regularly overflowing. Trash is left all over the loading dock area and the trash cans are left right outside our apartment for days on end without being emptied.

When we first raised complaints about this, we were told we were exaggerating the issue and numerous times accused of using old photos. We emailed again on Jan 1st, 14th, 18th, 21st, 25th, Feb 1st, 5th, and March 15th. MaryBob, asking us to stop sending emails on Mar 15th because there was nothing they could do about it, apparently. We did stop and instead set up our own camera. More emails on May 22nd, 25th & 26th, to no avail. All broken promises.

On June 12th, we complained again because the trash cans had been out for 48hrs and would be out for 48hrs more. They were moved at 5:30 pm and put back out around 7:30 am on the 14th. The trash company is Republic waste and their driver broke 2 of the property's trash cans, left trash all over the road, and dumped the recycling as trash. Now the trash cans are left in the loading dock and the smell is unbearable.

The property then came to us and asked if we could give them the footage from our camera so they could hold Republic accountable for breaking their dumpsters. There was no apology, no resolution, no goodwill, no nothing, just how we could help them!

We recently lost our 12-year-old dog who passed away from a stomach infection which we have been unable to prove was not because he licked something off the grass outside that came off the dumpsters. I literally never want to leave, Walton Westside is absolute perfection. Our apartment is so beautiful with SO much natural light. Amanda was the best at helping us out when we were first touring and learning about Walton Westside. Kyle has responded quickly and been SO helpful throughout our year of living here. The entire building and grounds are always so clean, the hallway smells good, the gym is always clean and beautiful, the rooftop is amazing, the location is everything.

I have lived in Atlanta for 16 years and it is the best apartment complex I have been in. Great community and excellent location.

Move in was a breeze! Ive lived here for about half a year so far and have had no issues so far. Amenities are beautiful and always clean, and the location is AMAZING. Steps away from restaurants, bars, and shops. Management is very kind and super responsive. Sends updates frequently. Same goes for maintenance. Ive never had a question or request go unhandled, and usually receive an immediate response. Such a gem!
