The property policy is not to clean the common areas if there is still a resident in one of the bedrooms. Therefore the common areas are RARELY cleaned by staff. Management sends email asking residents to clean up before move-in day. This email was ignored by the current/former residents of my son's apartment. He moved in and found a bag of maggot-ridden bananas and a refrigerator of stinking food covered in mold. I was told staff entered this apartment to clean the vacant bedrooms, but there... was shower mold and a dirty toilet. My son was told they couldn't send anyone to clean. So, we scrubbed and cleaned out 3 garbage bags full of rotten food. The manager was very apologetic when told and promised to send cleaners after the fact. She also explained the policy. In fairness, the amenities and facilities are fine, and it's a good location, but you need to know the policy. If the previous occupants were clean people who read emails, you should be fine.
