Roaches & Poor Management
Management is unapologetic, apathetic, and deeply incompetent. I have been waiting over a month for multiple maintenance requests submitted on December 30. Despite confirmed submission (with screenshots), I am repeatedly told to “resubmit” rather than having the requests entered manually on their end. This pattern feels deliberate and retaliatory.
Rent reminders are timely and relentless, yet there is zero urgency when it comes to habitability issues. Maintenance is effectively non-existent... .
The grounds are consistently unkempt—except when an apartment becomes vacant. Those units are suddenly prioritized and turned over quickly for the next tenant.
Plumbing issues are ongoing and unresolved. My first water bill was $125 due to a faulty toilet that went unrepaired for an entire month. That same issue now exists in the second bathroom and remains unaddressed.
Roaches are also a problem. Management stated—verbatim—that roaches “depend on the previous tenant,” which is an unacceptable response and abdication of responsibility. ($3 monthly pest control fee).
Additionally, residents are charged a $15 monthly amenity fee, yet the amenities are either unusable or nonexistent. The gym is inaccessible despite being issued an access key card. It appears abandoned—dust-covered, partially empty, and seemingly under construction, with no indication it has been functional in years. The pool is similarly filthy and unusable.
It is exhausting to be held strictly to the letter of the lease while management shows no reciprocity or accountability. Prospective tenants should proceed with caution.
