I did a online application which asked me for $120 app fee and the $200 deposit to hold my apartment all to not get approved because I'm moving from another state to GA they needed all this info even though I had 7 mos of rent the rent cafe was not professional when I called about my deposit they said they going to mail it keep it mind I paid on a card so how are you going to mail something I didn't mail you and that's not it they sent it all the way to my old address 1hour and 30mins from where... BEWARE!!! The apartments used to be a nice community. The structure is very thin. You can hear your neighbors conversation or their telephones ringing. It used to be quiet. It has gone down drastically. Guys smoking marijuana and drinking beers. Trash outside of the compactor for days. Management doesn't care about the property or it's tenants. They'd rather an old tenant move out and a new one move in rather than to fix The issues. Duping the new tenant. The parking lot lights at the front dont... work so it's very unsafe to walk to your mailbox at night because it's pitch dark. Tons of loitering by guys and gals who live here and others that don't live here. Maintenance requests are behind for months. Water leaks into apartments due to ac units. Ac unit doesn't work properly. It gets really hot here in the summer and really cold in the winter. Monthly routine maintenance is not done such as air filters being changed. Maintenance mark off work orders although they haven't been handled. Maintenance blames management for request not getting done and management blames maintenance. If you ever need to contact management, go into the office never call because they never answer. Pool doesn't open when it's supposed to during the summer. They give you old appliances. My refrigerator/freezer has rust on the inside of it. I have never used my ice maker because of this. Bedroom/bathroom Doors are cheap. They are split down the sides or middle. I have been researching apartments for several weeks; looking for my daughter who is about to get married. I found this one and it looks very nice and affordable for a new couple just starting out. I tried calling to get more information. I couldn't get a live person and they are only only open 3 days a week! WHAT?? That makes no sense when they have availability and are trying to lease an apartment. One Friday I finally drive to apartments on my lunch break one day and sat at the security... gate calling the leasing office and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone or let me in the gate. I called and tried the gate many times. I finally left a message and left. I tried several more times throughout the day. The following Monday, tried calling again. The mailbox was full. I tried several times before I finally called Concord Rents, who manages their property. I couldn't get a live person there either but used the "Contact Us" feature on their website and send a message. I tried again several hours later to reach the apartment lease office. I FINALLY got a live person who says they "are just really busy and they just haven't been able to answer the phones." I explained what I was looking for only to be told that income limits apply and my daughter doesn't qualify. UGHHHHH!!!! I was not happy to have wasted all that time. :( Read More

We've lived here for 5 years. It has been up and down. Sometimes I haven't minded living here and sometimes I hate it. For almost 4 years, our a/c never blew cold. They had people come to fix it and even had a HVAC company come to no avail. We recently got new maintenance men and they are extremely slow to come help, but things are fixed properly. The office staff *never* calls you back. At all. They're closed when they're supposed to be open, but they're much better than the people before them.... We had a lot more issues before now. I will say, there has never been a bug problem. You will see them in breezeways, but you won't have them inside. People are nasty with their garbage, not trying to use the compactor, but management has done everything possible to fix that problem including installing cameras. The neighbors are the biggest problem here. They let their kids roam freely and the kids are rude and occupy the middle of the road so you can't drive without almost hitting someone. Ive lived here for 1 1/2 years, being a first time renter straight out of my parents house, I must say these apartments are great. So far I have not had any issues with maintenance or unwanted bugs in the home. There are many bugs on the breezeway but they NEVER make their way into the home. The staff are very friendly and take the time out to know everyone who lives in the complex. They do not forget names! They are there to help you whenever they can and I love it.
