Austin Chase Apartments

This complex is disgusting. The trash is always piled up. It is roach and bug infected. The walkways are full of spider webs and eggs. Random cats roam around the complex. The gate never works which is concerning given the increase in criminal activity and car break ins in the area. Avoid this place, please.

We lived here for about 6 months now. I was very excited as it’s in town & very convenient. But you slowly start to notice all of the problems that come with it. Since living here, we’ve had our 2 bedroom doorknobs fall off multiple times, our air has had to be “fixed” 3 times now, our security system went of randomly all the time so it had to be unplugged. The trash compactor is currently broke so the first thing you see is a pile is trash as soon as you pull in. We were so excited to use the… pool this summer, but it never opened so we had to pay to go other places. There is tons of cockroaches everywhere although we pay for pest control. After moving here we were told the tanning bed was removed & the racquetball room was shut down. Most of all, the gate has only worked for a total of 2 weeks before it broke again. We were suppose to have a fully renovated apartment, but it seems like all they do is quick & cheap fixes then charge the most they can. The paint job is horrible, as you can see roller spots of paint on every ceiling. We will definitely be leaving after our lease. They need to put some of the money they make from charging sky high prices towards fully fixing something rather than doing a cheap quick fix. Read More

The rent is too expensive, they're more focus on taking care of the scenery than the functionality of the apartments. I've been living here since Sept and we've had broken gates, a shooting and my apartment's AC is consistently being "fixed" but they refuse to replace the unit(it's been like this for sometime before my living there I learned). plus the possibility that there's black mold in the inner ac unit that they were informed of but never investigated.

Playground and dog park raggedy. Gym equipment broken. Raised rent during covid but don't fix anything or update anything. Charges are ridiculous. Computers don't work nor the printer. Read the fine print and don't agree to them being able to change pricing as long as they give notice.
