MOLD
**Newest Update** so on Friday Maintenance and Property Manager came out to see the mold. They told us it was not mold, that it was mildew and it was there because we don’t clean the bathroom, it’s a tight space and it’s not ventilated properly. (Let me be clear that maintenance gave those excuses). They said someone would be back to clean the bathrooms for me. Someone did come & the bathroom tub was yellow, the ceiling had been wiped and sprayed. I was then told that a contractor would be out... on Monday (today). The contractor is here & has just said “they must’ve painted over this”. YESSS!! Being that everything has been wiped away (THE MOLD), they can’t see it and I am so glad they noticed and I have the conversation on video. Anyway, they used a machine to detect moisture and there was moisture detected in my bathroom but not the master (the mold grows so fast in this bathroom-I stay away). I will just wait until the mold grows again and call a specialist. I am pretty sure this place won’t be much help to me since I’m “complaining” and not taking blame. I am writing these reviews so ppl can really stay away!!! This property will harm your health. It’s not worth it at alllll.
**UPDATE** instead of hiring a plumber or maybe even getting a fan to dry out the ceiling. They sent a subcontractor to put wooden pieces to close the whole in the ceiling. So you know there will be more mold. I am new to Georgia & not sure what to do. Is there anyone I should call about this???
These reviews are bogus! **RENTERS BEWARE** I moved in in December & there have been so many issues. MOLD, painted bathtubs/shower to cover the mold (I wasn’t aware until after just a couple of showers). When I brought it to the offices’ attention the mold was repainted. Recently there has been leaking from my ceiling - last week & again last night (at least 3 gallons of water). I’m on the 1st floor & there are electric wires right where the leak is (my safety is at risk). I called and asked about being able to leave early & break my lease - I was told there would be a fee for something that is clearly their error. Cheap rent is great but not worth the headache or your life. This is a warning. Don’t believe the nice unit they show you on tour - you won’t be getting that unfortunately.
