This complex located in the heart of downtown Des Moines is a fantastic place to rent. 5-minute walk to the east village, as well as court avenue. The brick walls create a great sound barrier from the constant action of downtown.
The property manager Josh is unlike any that I have had in the best. He is always very attentive to the guests, as well as being very personable to everyone. 5-star property manager!

Just a disappointing experience over all. Location is great, price point is fair compared to the rest of down town but definitely older finish quality.
It is a good location but nothing special about the living experience. If you don't mind some rust here and a counter stain there this place is probably for you if you just want to get centrally located down town.
Parking is a commonly over looked expense living down. Be prepared to budget the cost of parking downtown as there is only a couple... loading zones and no actual parking on property. The parking available is street (parking meter) or garage parking is available. Towing does happen per parking policy.

I lived at Civic Center Court Apartments for 2 years and had a wonderful experience. The location is the best in the city because I was close to the river, the skywalk, and everything downtown - I could practically walk everywhere. The rent was always affordable and was perfect for wanted a downtown living experience without spending all of my money. Management was professional and responsive to any issues that I had. I highly recommend considering Civic Center Court! I will miss this place!
