"There's no place like home

The management staff are professional, helpful and attentive to all the needs of the renters from the showing and through all the years I have been here.
The maintenance people are respectful of my space and fix even the smallest problem in a very timely fashion. I especially like when they leave a note after they work on a problem.
I appreciate all the help from the staff and maintenance people.
The Community is very welcoming and respectful of everyone's space in the complex.
There are many… events planned for all ages - and it is fun to gather and get to meet other families.
Sometimes when I get home from work I feel like I am on vacation and enjoy my space even more.
Moving from a family house to an apartment here was much easier than I expected and I felt it to be my home very quickly.

Wheatlands Truly Checks Every Box

After exploring several nearby apartment communities, The Wheatlands is the one that truly checked every box for our family.

We're a family of three with a 2-year-old, and finding a place that balances comfort, convenience, and a family-friendly environment wasn't easy. Wheatlands stood out with its spacious apartments, full-size washer and dryer, dedicated kids' play area, walking and jogging trails, beautifully maintained open spaces, great ventilation, covered parking, and a strong sense of… safety and security. Everything we were looking for was here, and we couldn't find another community nearby that came close when we were considering renewing our lease.

The community itself is clean, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. From the moment you arrive, it gives a welcoming impression, and living here has only reinforced that feeling. The Renewal team has been incredibly friendly, responsive, and welcoming, making the renewal process smooth and stress-free.

One of the things we appreciate most is how much effort the management puts into creating a sense of community. Throughout the year, they organize various resident events and activities that bring neighbors together and make residents feel valued and appreciated. These thoughtful touches make Wheatlands feel like more than just an apartment complex—it truly feels like a community.

Overall, we've had a wonderful experience living here and would highly recommend The Wheatlands to anyone looking for a safe, spacious, family-friendly community with excellent amenities and a management team that genuinely cares about its residents.

Incredible Place to Live!

The village of Buffalo Grove's motto is "Smart with Heart". This also applies to The Wheatlands. The Property Manager and her entire staff are second to none. The property is run efficiently and is kept clean and well maintained at all times. Maintenance requests are completed very quickly. The property boasts a really nice pool and workout room.

For the heart, the management and entire staff show genuine concern for their residents. They even plan events to engage the community.

We lived… there 3 years and HIGHLY recommend The Wheatlands as a beautiful and safe place to live.

GREAT Community

The leasing staff is amazing! answered all my questions and walked me through several apartments.

The remodeled apartments are amazing. These apartments are very well laid out and roomy. The pool area is amazing, sundeck away from the water is a great idea.

Wonderful place to live

The office staff goes above and beyond every single day—they’re always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything, big or small. You can really tell they take pride in keeping the property clean, safe, and welcoming.

The maintenance team is incredible: quick to respond, thoughtful, and always ensuring everything is in perfect working order.

I’m genuinely grateful to live here.
