Astoria Tower

Currently, the fire suppression system is broken and there have been carbon monoxide leaks reported throughout the building. Lives are at risk with no urgency in fixing anything! Elevators are constantly broken, with "repairs" only lasting a few days. Hence, elevator wait times are long, especially as moves continue to be scheduled despite only 1 elevator for 30 floors. Trash is piling up in the chute and in the trash room causing terrible smells. Building is not secure and thus any one can... access it at any time. Almost all of the amenities they advertise are broken. They are no longer permitted to have a pool so it is likely permanently closed. Gym equipment is broken. Maintenance staff are non existent and management is non responsive. I do not write this lightly as this place used to be amazing and it is in such a great location, it is so sad to see what has become of it under the management of 3L. Elevators are always down. Fire suppression system is down. At one point the trash went up to floor 11 and made the whole building smell. Maintenance requests go unanswered. Was a fire in the building and we were not told about it.

I’ve lived in Astoria tower for just over 2 months. It’s the worst managed property I’ve ever rented,

There is only 1 working elevator for 30 floors and it’s been this way for a month.

My washing machine has been broken since I moved in. I have submitted maintenance requests, gone into the leasing office, and attempted every possible avenue for getting it fixed.

There is a bug problem in my apartment, It took over a month to get a pest control technician out to my unit. There are unsealed... cracks in the flooring and wall behind appliances they’ve still not fixed.

I was told when I moved in the missing doors in my unit would be replaced before I moved in. They were not. I was told the rug would be replaced because of staining, missing and ripped carpet, and it was not.

I could go on, but the view and soaking tubs are not worth the poor management.

Door Dash deliveries or large grocery deliveries aren’t allowed to go up to your apartment. It can take over 20 minutes to get the 1 working elevator to pick up an order.

There was a recent fire in the building and the fire suppression system isn’t operable.

The elevators are rarely all working, with long periods of only one elevator being in service for such a large building. There has been no working fire suppression system since 10/11/25. I don’t recommend living here.

No maintenance staff, broken amenities, elevators don’t work, hot water not working properly, no AC on summer days and no heating during winter. Trash chute has trash up to the 8th floor. No key fob access or consistent security.
