A living nightmare
Since moving into MDA Club Apartments on May 31, my experience has been nothing short of a disaster. This building is a case study in mismanagement and indifference.
First, the heat was shut off prematurely despite unseasonably cold nights that dipped below 50 degrees, leaving my apartment freezing. When I raised concerns, the management team smugly hid behind city ordinances instead of doing the right thing. It became immediately clear that resident comfort is not even a blip on their radar....
Then came the water leak…a random, dirty ceiling leak in my kitchen that was completely ignored by maintenance. After several emails and follow-ups with the general manager, I was left stunned by how utterly incompetent and disorganized this staff is. It’s like they’re playing Who Can Care Less and everyone’s winning.
Fast forward to a brutal summer heatwave. The AC in my unit didn’t work…of course. Maintenance, again, was nowhere to be found. I was either ignored or met with absurd threats like work orders being left on stovetops, unattended for days. Even worse, the entire building’s AC went out, leaving everyone to bake in their units while management offered no meaningful updates, relief, or urgency.
Now, as they finally attempt to fix the soaked ceiling, I’m forced to live with industrial humidifiers and fans blasting nonstop for over a week. These machines pump out even more heat into the apartment, turning an already miserable situation into borderline unlivable conditions. And don’t expect a single ounce of empathy from the front desk, just attitude and blank stares.
This building is spiraling and so are its residents. If you’re considering signing a lease here, don’t. MDA Club Apartments will drain your patience, comfort, and sanity; and give you nothing but silence and hot air in return.

Property Manager at MDA Apartments responded to this review
Hello there, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience since moving in hasn’t met your expectations, that’s never the impression we want to leave with any of our residents. We understand how... frustrating it’s been to deal with temperature discomfort early on, followed by the unexpected water intrusion and more recent AC concerns. While we do follow city guidelines for seasonal HVAC changes, we recognize that this doesn’t always align with personal comfort, and we regret the inconvenience this has caused. Since the water intrusion occurred, our team has remained in regular communication and has been working closely with vendors and insurance partners to complete repairs as thoroughly and quickly as possible. We’re also coordinating with our HVAC vendor to visit your home and address any remaining concerns. We truly appreciate your patience and would welcome the opportunity to connect directly to ensure everything is fully resolved to your satisfaction. Best regards, The MDA Apartments Management Team.
