Paper thin walls, terrible maintenance, pests, and mold.

The walls are paper thin, we could hear our neighbors doing EVERYTHING. There were Cockroaches every summer. My personal belongings were damaged by maintenance when they had to repair water leaking straight from out upstairs neighbors bathroom and when they painted the balcony above our patio. Our fridge was broken pretty much the whole time we lived there, it went out multiple times and would constantly leak water from the freezer. They refused to replace it until it completely stopped working... and I had to throw a bunch of food away. The laundry machines were always broken and eating money, which they refused to reimburse. I could hear rodents running through the walls at night. The mold was so bad due to absolutely no air circulation, after only a summer of storing a leather jacket and shoes in the coat closet, they were covered in mold. It was so bad there that I paid to get out of my lease early and it was the best $800 I have ever spent. The only good thing about this place is that it was cheap, but because they raise the rent so much every year they don't even have that going for them anymore.

the trainnn

The apartment is very spacious. We live in a 2 bedroom 1 bath and it's very nice. The kitchen is a little small. Unfortunately if you want to have your windows open at night the trains blare there horns at 530 630 and 730 in the morning. Monday through friday. And since we're right on the tracks it sounds like it's going to come right through the building. The matinence guys are very nice. But if you ever have something happen when the office is closed you better hope it's not important because... sometimes there after hours emergency number goes straight to voice mail and no one gets back to you til the next day. Other than that it's pretty nice. The people are nice. It feels like home.
