Disapointed Tenant

The property looks nice at a glance. What you don't know is that the water has a terrible sulfur smell and does not seem safe to drink. The walls are paper thin and I can hear both my neighbors all day. There is no one to manage the property 24/7. If you have a noise complaint a letter is sent at the management leisure. When moving in the manager stated I could get the keys after hours but there was no one to let me into the secure building to give me the keys. They also allow you to schedule a... time for the move in but there was no on property to open the garage door for my movers. I have never lived on a property that was so disorganized and unavailable to its tenants. I will not resign my lease.

Typically,...
our move-ins are scheduled Monday through Saturday during regular office hours when our full team is available to assist. While we do our best to accommodate move-ins on Sundays, please note that our office staff is not available that day. However, our concierge team is on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to assist with any onsite resident needs. While our team is not available 24/7, we do our best to have someone onsite every day, with an on-call team member available for emergencies.
We understand that noise levels can be an issue, and we take all complaints seriously. We make every effort to remind neighbors of quiet hours and apartment living etiquette. Often, a simple courtesy call can resolve situations where neighbors are unaware of the noise they are causing.
Regarding the water smell, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. If you’d like, we can arrange for a maintenance technician to come out and investigate the sulfur smell. We have found various solutions that have helped mitigate this issue in the past, and our community-wide water softener is also in place to assist.

luxury prices without the luxury

Half the amenities don’t work most of the time, pool has opened late two years in a row, it is so loud with people above you we have woken up at 3am every single night for the last few months because of the people above us must wake up at that time… we can hear their arguing, dog barking, dog running, toilet flushing, etc. no amount of white noise blocks it out as our walls literally shake. Hallway always smells like stale weed and the carpets are so dirty in the hallway. Cheaply made. Can’t... wait to move out.

Disappointing condition of the entire property

At first when they opened Arden, it was very nice and kept up to a degree. That is no longer the case. The hallways are dirty and smelly, the garage is filthy as it has never been cleaned since day one. The dog waste bins are overflowing. The elevators are so dirty, rarely cleaned. Management is never around. There is one maintenance worker for this massive building. It is nice outside, but there is nowhere to sit. Both courtyards have no furniture. The pool has not been touched since last... summer. There used to be sails hanging for some shade at the pool and in the courtyards, but we have not seen them since the first year. Look elsewhere if you are looking for luxury. You won't find it here.

Looks are deceiving

The apartments look great inside and out and maintenance is quick to respond, but there are some major issues. Barking dogs can be heard throughout the day and night for hours at a time. Any noise in hallways and from inside other apartments is heard clearly in our apartment. People smoking on balconies, porches, and in courtyards make sitting outside impossible. When toliets flush in apartments above us it sounds like rocks going down the pipes. I was told that when we have our bathroom fan on... the floor in the apartment above us vibrates. Trash in enterance of garage mostly from construction has been collecting for months. Renters are adding to the ever growing piles of garbage by tossing their household trash on the mess. Plus the trash is blocking parking spaces which could be used for parking if they would dispose of it. The parking spaces that we pay for in garage are not assigned even though we were told it would be done 5 months ago, so its a free for all and you may have to park on a different floor than you live on.
