Terrible Management
My experience with Artistry Indy management was extremely disappointing. We were actively communicating with the office for months about renewal, trying in good faith to find a workable option and determine whether we could stay. We did not ignore the process or disappear. We raised concerns about pricing, asked for flexibility, and were seriously considering renewal until it became clear that the offers were financially unreasonable. Despite that ongoing communication, management later took the... position that none of those discussions mattered and tried to enforce major additional charges based on a strict notice interpretation.
What made this especially frustrating was the renewal pricing itself. We were shown short term renewal options at rates that were dramatically higher (double in some cases) than our current rent, and when we tried to work with them, the outcome felt less like a reasonable business process and more like an attempt to take advantage of tenants who were trying to act in good faith. As college students, it was incredibly frustrating to deal with a large property owner that seemed more focused on squeezing out extra money than resolving the situation fairly.
In my experience, management was rigid, dismissive, and unwilling to show any meaningful flexibility even though we had been good tenants and had stayed in communication throughout. If you are considering living here, I would strongly encourage you to read every lease term carefully, pay very close attention to notice requirements, and be cautious about relying on renewal discussions to mean anything unless everything is formalized exactly the way management wants it. Based on my experience, I would not recommend living here.

Hi Dylan,
We’re sorry to hear that your experience left you feeling frustrated, as it is always our goal to communicate openly and work with residents throughout the renewal process. We appreciate that you remained in communication with our office... regarding your renewal options and understand that navigating housing decisions can feel stressful and time sensitive.
While our team always aims to assist residents in exploring available options, we are also required to follow the policies and timelines outlined within the lease agreement consistently for all residents. This includes the requirement that notice to vacate be submitted in writing at least 60 days prior to lease expiration, as renewal discussions alone do not serve as formal notice.
We are always happy to provide additional context regarding the offers presented and help explain why certain options may reflect different pricing structures. Please feel free to contact our management team directly at info@artistryindy.com.
