Management is awful

The actual apartments are fine but the management is horrible. They hardly ever answer their phones or return phone calls or emails. It snowed twice since Village Green started to manage the complex. On Tuesday, December 13th, I called because it snowed and the sidewalks had not been shoveled. I called when I got home around 5 p.m. and the front office said they thought he was about to start shoveling. It had been snowing on and off all day. At 8:30 p.m. someone started to use a snow blower… . By that time so many people had walked on the sidewalks that it was not only snow but now ice. I emailed the property management and never received a response. January 5th it snowed again and it was not shoveled. The morning of January 6th I called and nobody answered so I left a message. In this message I specifically asked for someone to call me back. Nobody ever called back. The snow was NEVER shoveled. The snow right in front of the front office was shoveled but that was it. I walk my dog every day and it is very frustrating that it does not even seem to be a concern. I have slipped multiple times trying to walk her. The fact that nobody even called back is very unprofessional and unacceptable. It only added to the frustration. My roommate emailed the office through the website and never received a response. Because of this I emailed someone at corporate to express my concerns. I did not hear from them either. Apparently this is how Village Green manages. We will not be spending another year here. It is not worth the money.

Pleased with Canyon Club

I have been living here for 2 yrs now and I have been very pleased with Canyon Club. This has been the best apartment I have ever lived in. The management staff is very nice and the amenities are great. We will continue to stay here at Canyon Club for a long time.

Not Luxury

****No longer worth the rent****
Statistically Canyon Club at Metropolis is the only luxury apartment home option for Plainfield Indiana. This “luxury” used to be reflected by not only the cost of rent but by the customer service, grounds care, and maintenance professionalism. Unfortunately, the ownership changed over the last few weeks, and so too did the allure of this once nice facility. One would assume that the new owners of the most costly facility in the city would have prepared to have… the day-to-day operations of the complex managed appropriately. However, the idea of managing the complex appears to have been an afterthought. First, no website was, or is, in place for prospective or current tenants to have access to any information regarding the facility. Second, the clubhouse/office, pool area, and gym are looking as though no one is in charge of maintaining them, and the bathrooms are quite dirty including the floors, toilets, mirrors, and walls. Third, the office staff are not only lacking in personality, but they appear unprepared with regards to managing a pretty nice complex. In addition to the poor office management staff, a lone maintenance gentleman has been seen trying to do the job that three full-time maintenance workers used to do. This maintenance persons struggle is evident by the mounting maintenance complaints and the deterioration of the complex appearance. Fortunately, new options for nice apartment living have been built near Plainfield over the last few years, and the new apartment homes are ready to pick up where Canyon Club left their tenants who expect more. Sadly it seems as though Towne Properties (new managers) will hurt this once nice apartment complex. Also, if you have any questions regarding Canyon Club good luck contacting the office as they will not answer the phone.

Luxurious Apartment Living

Wonderful apartments with beautiful amenities. Each apartment has beautiful granite countertops in the kitchen and baths, nice updated appliances and light fixtures throughout. Our apartment has a really nice layout and plenty of additional storage space, making it feel so warm and cozy. We enjoy the resort like pool and sun deck during the summer months and the walking trails all year long. The staff and maintenance team are amazing. The location is convenient to shopping, dining, and downtown… Indianapolis.
