Thefts occur in bike room, garage, and lobby
Beware: high risk of theft. We've lost 10 figures worth of personal property living here. Don't place your bikes in the bike room that you pay an extra fee to get the access key to - even if you put individual locks on your bikes, the locks will be cut and bikes stolen. We lost 4. After this incident, the management has yet to warn other residents or ask them to check their bikes are still there.
On top of that, when we asked for security footage, we were told they lost the password to the... system; no mention of how they'd resolve that - like even an attempt to reset the password. We'd already asked about footage weeks ago when items were removed from our trunk in the parking garage (which you pay a fee to park in as well); they didn't address the inability to access the system then.
Packages are also stolen and there is no follow-up when that occurs; I've had items removed from a package while the box and receipt are left in the elevator.
Response from the building management team has been in large part "Oh I wish we could do something to help" rather than actioning.
