What you Make of it.

The apartment building itself is in a really great location. It's just one apartment building (not a complex) up on a hill. It's not on a main road so there's not a lot of traffic. It's a nice wooded area but is also right of the street from the highway (route 44) and right up the street from route 105. It's close to all of the surrounding towns. You can jump on 44 and get to Plymouth in 10 minutes or take 105 and get to Halifax or Bridgewater in 10 minutes. By taking back roads you can also get... to Plympton or Carver in 5 minutes. It's like the epicenter of the south shore! The apartment itself though is a different story. I'm in one of the two bedroom apartments. They have two different 2 bedroom styles. Mine has no dining room, a long galley kitchen, and bigger living room. The size is great and the bedrooms feel very separated from the living room due to the long kitchen separating them. It makes it feel spacious. Unfortunately though the apartment itself is not so great. The rugs are old, walls are spotty and weren't painted, there are some small holes in the walls by like radiators, the kitchen floors are clearly just repeatedly layered, the walls are hollow and you can hear above or below you crystal clear, and it's just old. It's old and maintenance doesn't fix or clean anything. They have a laundry room outside with two washers and two dryers and usually only one of each is working because they're old as well and when one breaks it takes them a very long time to fix it. Common areas such as the hallways or laundry room are almost never cleaned. I've seen them vacuum less than 3 times in the two years I've been here and when I moved in they didn't even touch the apartment. It was filthy. I spent a lot of time cleaning. Basically location is great and the size is pretty good. The apartments could be worse and could be better. It's what you make of it. With all of my nice furniture and how I often I clean it actually looks like a pretty decent apartment with the exception of the walls and rugs. If you bring in some stuff that isn't too great then it's going to look like the dump that it is. Maintenance is useless but the apartment is in a great place for a good price considering the size. If you can rely on solving problems yourself and making the place nice then I would say it's a great place for you. If you want the base of the place to be nice (i.e. cabinets, floors, walls, etc) then it is not. It is what you make of it! Not the best not the worst.
