Northgate Apartments

I regret to say that my experience at Northgate Apartments has been extremely disappointing. The management and staff display a lack of professionalism and courtesy, often being unresponsive and most of the time unhelpful to residents' questions and concerns.

The buildings themselves are in a state of disrepair, with constant infestations of roaches, bugs, and mice that make living conditions intolerable. The building constantly smells like marijuana and cigarette smoke, garbage, and urine. The… carpets are completely stained and damaged. it's pretty embarrassing if you plan to bring any guests over.

It's not uncommon for residents to throw objects and trash out of their porches, posing a hazard to vehicles parked in the spaces between the buildings. I have seen cars get damaged several times. The hallways of the complex and parking lots are constantly trashed. The laundry facilities are also severely inadequate, with only two washers and two dryers for a building with four floors of units and families. The machines are app-operated, but the app frequently takes your money without turning on the dryer/washer, there is no customer support on the app to address these issues to so be prepared to gamble with your money using these machines.

Another concerning aspect is the high tenant turnover; it seems like residents are moving out left and right, likely due to the numerous problems at Northgate Apartments.

To make matters worse, the apartments are overpriced as is, given the untrained and unprofessional leasing office agents and the overall state of the building, this is not worth it. There are far better apartment options elsewhere that offer way more for your money.

So unless you enjoy overpaying for subpar living conditions and incompetent management after you sign the lease, I beg you, never lease at Northgate Apartments. You will truly regret it. Read More
