Southwood Acres

I’ve lived at Southwood Acres for a few years now and my experience overall has been very positive. From the start, it had the basics of what I need in a home - quiet, clean, safe area, and pet friendly. But as I’ve spent more time here, I’ve experienced first-hand how great the team at Southwood Acres is and the difference that makes.

The Property Manager, Amanda, is incredibly kind and always on top of keeping tenants informed on updates ranging from general maintenance to fun events. She... brings the type of energy to Southwood Acres that makes it feel more like a community, offering easy ways to engage with things like raffle gifts or seasonal holiday activities.

When it comes to the Maintenance Team, they are the most genuine, helpful, and hard-working group. They respond to maintenance needs quickly, professionally, and on multiple occasions have gone above and beyond to help. They’re familiar, friendly faces around the complex where I see them consistently keeping the surrounding areas clean, plowing and shoveling walkways, and even recently had one of the team members step in to help me jump start my car when they were outside working on plowing. And if that’s not enough, on another occasion, I was casually talking to a team member in the gym about wanting a bench and, within the next day or two, a bench showed up!

I have driven by this property for years and have always admired how clean and upkept it is. The community has great amenities like resort style pool, gym, dog park, playground, and more. I work for a sister property and know that the office staff will go above and beyond to help you find a home here. Once you are moved in, they will offer great resident events and giveaways! I've been in this apartment for more than a year, and I'm very glad I made this choice. The apartment has a large, well-planned layout with lots of natural light and stainless steel appliances. Not to mention great ammenities and actually has utilities included!

Having an dog park right on the property is probably one of my all time favorite features about this community. It is also located in a nice quiet area yet so close to so many things to do!

The property manager, Amanda, and leasing... agent, Katelyn have been so helpful and nice from day one til now. They are always willing to help and with a smile on their face!

All things considered, I would heartily suggest these apartments to anyone searching for a new place to call home. You wont regret it! Read More

I have just moved to Southwood Acres. Brianna was very helpful in the process. She answered all my questions and helping me though the process. She a delight to be working with.

I lived here for 14 months. I had relocated temporarily for work, otherwise I would have stayed!! My move in process was easy as well as my move out. Loved the gym and the pool!! The minor issues I had in my apartment were fixed quickly! They would do regular maintenance as well. Washer and dryer in the apartment was a life saver. Office staff was always holding events or daily get togethers for the residents. They really made you feel at home.
