Insufferable management. Old apartments which need renovated. Major water leak took over a week to even find the root cause and while the apartment is uninhabitable they refuse to help at all or give any empathy other than fake corporate language and finding out the least they can do and get away with. I have paid a “non compliance fee” when their policyvalidator considers a new start date as a lapse in coverage even though never one day did I not have renters insurance.

Live anywhere else

It's a good price, but oh my god, the management do NOT care that the floors upstairs are so poorly done, that they creak with every footstep. Every day at any time I can tell exactly where my upstairs neighbors are at. They stomp too, which only adds to the agony.

I am typing this right now with headphones on listening to music and I can STILL HEAR THEM WALKING. They shake my monitor and ceilingfans, and if I want to watch a movie, I might as well not use my living room or den.

Management… said they would """"fix it""", and that means having loud contractors come early on a SATURDAY, which is insane. 2 weekends straight of work, and the sound is only partially mitigated, but they might as well of not done anything for the living room.

Any other company would have given the upstairs neighbors a transfer or exception to break lease while they work on it, but why bother? They know they don't have to actually do anything.

Again, price is good, but I have not had a single day of peace since these ogres upstairs moved in. Read More

Autumn Crest us an excellent place to live, its quiet, and a very easy commute to different stores, including Columbia Mall. No complaints, staff always welcome you with a smile.

Unit layout is decent and prices are relatively high if you're single, however in the few years of living here I've encountered few issues - primarily the noise and irritation from other people who live here....

You'll have certain types of "people" always yell-talking at each other or on their cell phones or blasting music on their cell phone in common areas. It's not uncommon that people are blasting terrible music in their cars loud enough to shake your building either, and of course all of… this on top of the loud music coming from the events at the lake across the highway or even Merriweather - primarily an issue only during the summer. There are also quite a few children that live here who seem to have nothing to do during the summer either, so they like to get in the way of parking lot traffic, dribble basket balls or play-fight each other in common areas as well. Management seems to take noise complaints seriously, but at some point you will need to yell at someone yourself or call the police.

There are quite a few old people living here as well. Emergency services show up weekly so hopefully your car won't be blocked in for long.

The final gripe is the entrances off of Stevens Forest Road aren't smooth, every time you pull in it's incredibly jarring unless you're going 1 MPH - unsure if this is something they'd be allowed to fix but I mentioned it when i first moved in and they couldn't do anything other than agree it was an issue.
