Merion

I've lived in Columbia for the last 3+ years, and when my lease was going up in March 2026, I knew I wanted to stay in Howard County! I researched so many apartments that I had to make an Excel spreadsheet to keep track, and I'm genuinely so happy that out of all the apartments I toured, I went with Club Merion!

Customer service has been amazing: the ladies at the leasing office are rockstars! They are so attentive to residents' needs and are just so pleasant to be around. Maintenance is also... prompt and well-documented - the leasing office is very communicative and gives clear timelines, so there are never any surprises! When I moved in, there was a broken dryer handle, so I couldn't do laundry, but they were able to resolve the issue the same day! Thank you to Noh & Vic!

Additionally, the bedrooms are spacious, and the apartments are well-insulated, so I rarely hear from my neighbors. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can enjoy my space, but that I'm also not disturbing the other residents or being disturbed. There's elevator access, which is super convenient for daily use and moving purposes. And there are also community events (like an easter egg hunt where residents can win prizes, paint & pizza nights, and cookouts from what I've been told), food trucks that swing by on a regular basis, and more!

When I moved to Columbia from Virginia, the Merion was my first choice and I was not disappointed! The building is quiet and very well maintained. The leasing and maintenance staff are friendly and incredibly responsive. There are also lots of fun events that the leasing office staff plan for the community and the apartment has a full size washer/dryer in unit which is convenient. Lived at Merion for four years and have enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend!

I love that this place is quiet. The maintenance team is very prompt to respond. The office team is so attentive. I love the large walk in closets and the spacious bathrooms. The controlled access to the building is also a plus. The location is great...close to the lake and the Merriweather district!

I absolutely loved my stay here! The only reason I left was because I relocated to a new state. The staff is very friendly and professional and maintenance is so quick to respond (usually same day)! Such great energy the minute you walk in. I’ve lived in other apartments previously and this is definitely my favorite. I felt so safe living here, especially as a young single female and I think that had a lot to do with Sue and her team, needing a key card to access the building, and the serene... surrounding area. It is beautiful and the building is super close to “downtown Columbia” but away from all of the noise which is nice. Super quiet building and a quick drive or uber to everything you need! The inside and outside is always so clean and tidy, you can tell the team takes pride in working there and in everything they do which is rare these days! A quiet place to live that just feels cozy and homey. Spacious apartments with huge closets! Maintenance is always quick and efficient whenever I need something, which I really appreciate. The staff are all so nice and easy to talk to, it makes a big difference day to day. Overall, it just feels like a comfortable, easy place to call home!
