Perfect place to live. Beautiful new building, LEED certified, modern, great amenities, full time concierge, outdoor pool, access to indoor pool in adjacent hotel, all utilities including parking garage included, free shuttle service to airport, many tenant activities held by management, online pay, walking distance to casino and high-end mall, great place to live

Most days living at the Residences I feel like I am on vacation staying at a five star hotel. The feeling starts when I turn into the complex and see the grand water fountain. The building is fresh, clean, and modern. Since it is relatively small, it feels exclusive. The front desk is manned 24/7 with friendly and welcoming staff. There is a gym with nice equipment and tvs, an outdoor heated pool for the summer months and access to the neighboring Hotel's indoor pool during the winter months.… There is also shared community room available for hosting small parties. The Residences host several events throughout the year including cook-outs and a Super Bowl party. Residents are welcome to use the Hotel's shuttle back and forth to BWI airport and Amtrak/Marc Train. There is a walking path leading to the surrounding communities which is great for a morning run or an evening stroll. Within the complex is a breakfast/sandwich shop and three restaurants often offering discounts for residents of the Residences. There are other restaurants and retail within walking distance including Arundel Mills Mall. There is even an urgent care clinic across the street. Essentially, you don't have to drive for food or entertainment. They even make working from home easier with access to free wifi in the lobby, two computers and printers, and access to fax and copy machines. If you do have to drive somewhere, there is the convenience of easy access to 295 and 95 to downtown Baltimore or DC. We are very close to Columbia. You can shop there on the weekends and not get caught up on their roads coming home from work on the weekdays. For those pet lovers, they are really open to them, even providing treats at the front desk. The apartment is not smoker friendly. I would say if you are a smoker, this is not the home for you.
Let's see, what issues have I had at the Residences in the past 4 years? People do move in and out a lot. I think for work (ie. military) and home ownership. When I have had problems with appliances, they were either quickly replaced or repaired. I do occasionally hear my neighbors above and sometimes the USPS puts the wrong mail in our boxes. People aren’t always responsible with their pets. These are minor in the big scheme of things. The staff do their best to rectify these situations. I changed jobs a couple a times and work has taken me farther away from the Residences, but nothing compares in price and luxury that would be closer. That is why I stay. Read More
