Steeplechase

Do not waste your time trying to rent this apartment. I can go on and on about all the reasons why you shouldn’t consider steeplechase.
First, they show you a model apartment that looks nothing like the apartment you will be renting, then the stairs are so dirty and everywhere stinks, on top of that the apartment you get is mad filthy and you can see bugs and flies everywhere. If you put in a service request for something to get fixed in your apartment, it doesn’t get fixed until your request… has been a minimum of 7 days and when you call the apartment to complain or get answers they answer you in such a condescending tone like you do not pay rent especially they current office manager. When it comes to security that is not a thing at steeplechase, thieves breaks into people cars like it’s nothing and your packages gets stolen like child’s plays. They increase your rent and instead of them to use it in getting things like security officers to keep their residents safe, they focus bringing different food trucks like that is helping the residents in any way. Hair in the paint ceiling fell drawers and cabinet old and worn mildew in room closet water leaked in hall light fixture screen door has been broken without repair for months room and closet door has been used so many times can no longer be supported at henges sink leaks don’t have access to package room or gym after office closes even though we was told we would have fobs last year June

Moved into an apartment and upon arrival the Movers spotted 8 roaches right off the bat, we dealt with it temporarily, by allowing pest control to do their job. Which ended up just being a 5 minute spray through of our kitchen cabinets. The property manager said we weren’t allowed to switch out to another apartment, where at that point we went to the regional manager and she gave the approval to allow us to move into another building. Upon arrival at the next building come to find out this… building is also infested with roaches. The property manager was also extremely rude when we brought up the roaches, and started talking ish out of the blue because she didn’t want to do her job correctly. The regional manager was very helpful though. The roaches were literally every where as well, and upon speaking to several neighbors in this building they’ve all moved out. Read More

I requested a tour of a 1 bedroom for 2:15 pm at 10:30 am in the morning and was notified via email that they were looking forward to my visit. I arrive to the property 15 minutes early and was called into the office. I told the manager that I had an appointment for a 1 bedroom tour and she was like cool. She pulled up my information and tells me that the property was already rented at 9 am that morning and that she had a 2 bedroom available. Now, if I asked for a 1 bedroom, what in the world… would make you think I would want a 2 bedroom. I did not have a problem with the property being taken, but I did have a problem with the lack of communication. If the property was already taken, why allow me to drive 45 minutes to the property just to tell me it was already gone?? The cost of gas and people's time is way too much to allow that. The office could have easily contacted me via phone or email and say they don't have the property anymore. I read the reviews before I requested the tour and everyone had negative comments to say about the leasing office, but I assumed that they were better at handling business since the comments were from a year ago. But obviously not. The lack of professionalism is disgusting. I left work early to view this property only to be told I was too late and sorry. While leaving, a tenant was outside and told me I should be glad it happen because the neighborhood is not safe and there is a lot of theft and vandalism there.
