Claridge House

I stayed here for two years, it was great! The building management team is great, the concierge are awesome. The building is clean and great. I had 1 mouse but it was QUICKLY dealt with by the maintenance team (who is also quick and good at what they do.) The only reason I left this apt was because I'm trying to pay off debts and live under my means. We wish it was less expensive because then we'd be back in a FLASH. 1 con is during our last summer there the AC went out for a while. After moving in it quickly became apparent the building is infested with cockroaches. A late-night trip to the kitchen for a glass of water exposed 50 cockroaches on the counters and in the drawers and cupboards. They were even coming out from underneath the base boards! The next day I sprayed and put out traps and reported the issue to management. They sprayed within a couple days, but it has had no lasting affect. We clean up after meals and don't leave food out -- to no effect. The roaches… swarm every few days so I'm guessing the neighbors are spraying and forcing them into our apartment. Mary Poppins would proudly sing many spoonfuls of sugar for the wonderful Claridge House resident care team. Been living here over 20 years and the team family is the top reason. They have the magic of a bazillion Mary Poppins...always spot on when things need to be taken care of...24/7...and they do it in the most delightful way! The location of the Claridge House is the best for the price too! Convenient to Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD you can't beat that! My apartment home is a… spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath 15th floor spectacular view of the fireworks all over Virginia, Maryland and Washington Monument in DC. Awesome views. The pool side parties and annual lobby catered affair is simply define. And it is walking distance to the Parkway Deli...Yum! Coffee awaits you in the lobby every morning to start your day. I must also say I love my apartment home because it inspired creative decorating ideas. You feel you are in the center of a garden park with grand trees and green foliage.
