It gives a home feeling

I've lived in Oak Ridge Apartments, and I wanted to leave a review as I'm parting ways with it. I'm a young student that was able to obtain a one bedroom, and I found it helpful that the staff in the office was very professional, prepared, and bilingual. She was able to help me continue forward in my process, and I felt fine with being able to access all the information throughout my stay there. In addition, I found that the parking was only an issue at night, although some residents would park... in places that were not appropriate, and the office would be quick to address that. I really enjoyed having a family environment around, and I didn't feel so isolated walking from my car at night. I have to say that I've always had bad experience with maintenance, but the system this property had was really helpful toward any problems throughout 24/7. They have people on call, and I didn't feel that my sink was broken for a month as previously experiences came and went. I thought the staff as well was really helpful in terms of being bilingual, so they spoke English to me really well when needed. In addition, I'd like to add as a side note that they ask permission to come into your apartment or call, and that's very respectful in my book (I've definitely had my share of bad experiences). That being said, if you expect a great sense of community then this is what you'll get. I'd have to say that the only negative are some of the attitudes of residents, and that makes it awkward in the office, but hey, that's a part of the package.

Not really a good place to live in.

1)Parking is bad at night or starting from 7 in the afternoon.
2)The cameras are not really good when something happen for example "your car getting hit" and if is near the cameras they do not allow you to get footage for your insurance to show.
3) You can not really express to them by anything because they will write a note telling you to leave. Even if is by the "Agreement".
4) The office is bilingual correct? If they have a notice to sent to a family who speak Spanish for example and they...
understand that the family ONLY READS Spanish. They sent the notice in English anyway, and if you did not get the message from them, they resent one saying that they explain to you what the other letter says. And wait is in Spanish.
5)They keep making more randoms "agreements"
I speak both English and Spanish and i see the effect these apartments management have created and disrespected. We are moving out and other people as well by the actions made. Is not the best place to live if you are trying to move .
