Appliance problems The apartment is nice but we have experienced numerous appliance problems since moving in.
The electrical plugs were new and for some reason we could not use a number of the plugs in the apartment, they appeared blocked. That has been fixed to our satisfaction.
In the move in inspection the garbage disposal was not working and they fixed that. It worked for a few days and once again is making a loud grinding noise even though there is nothing in it.
The air conditioner... would not cool the apartment sufficiently. That has now been replaced and it is working well.
The first time I used the dishwasher it flooded the kitchen floor. That has also been fixed.
The dryer is very loud and even after two full cycles on high heat it did not dry our jeans. We are drying them by hanging them over chairs.
Needless to say when arriving to a new area and having numerous things on your mind having to deal with all of the problems with the apartment makes the experience less pleasant.
I would like to add that the maintenance personnel have been very good and helpful.
