The Orion

I have lived here for 5 years. The building, apartment, amenities & Resident events are top of the line! The office staff and maintenance are great! They go out of their way to ensure everyone's happy and things run smoothly. I would highly recommend The Orion.

I lived here for a year and a half (August 2016 - Feb 2018). While not perfect, it came pretty close. I had a 2 bed, 2 bath. It was spacious and I loved the private entry! It was a little tedious that the mail was at the entrance of the complex and not near my apartment, but it wasn't too bad. The staff at the front desk were always very helpful and maintenance was quick to respond. We did have a problem with some bugs but the apartment had people doing the rounds with bug spray before I could… even call. While the apartment itself wasn't super renovated (and the shelves in the cabinets peeled off on my plates), it wasn't too bad and the area made up for it. While we were no more than 10 minutes away from stores, we were well isolated by trees that it was always peaceful and quiet. There was a park near us that we walked to as much as possible, and a cider mill no more than a 15-minute walk.

My only complaint is that the rent went up when we renewed our contract the first time, and that's ultimately why we decided to move - it was a bit too expensive for us.

Karen and Amy made the decision to move here easy. The maintenance team was fast on something as simple as a towel rack.

I lived at Waldon Lakes for two years, and I enjoyed my experience there. The grounds are well-maintained, and I rarely had any issues with electrical, plumbing, structural problems, etc. The maintenance staff is pretty responsive, but the only complaint I had was that a mess was usually to be found when they left.

The rent was a little too high for me to continue living there, but I would live there again if the rent wasn't so expensive. I had more than enough space to live, and the newer… appliances and countertops are wonderful. The in-apartment washer and dryer as a definite plus as well.

I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to a friend looking for an apartment in the area. Read More
