Roaches, poor communication, poor landscaping, and overall bad management. The management saw fit to steal everything out of my locked, labeled, and organized storage space that they assigned to me when I moved it. Then they failed to fairly compensate me for the items that ending up destroyed and missing. This is just the latest in bad management stories I could share. Stay away from anything related to Essential Property Management.

My lease was up Aug 31, I moved out Sept 1 2025. I moved out because of an ongoing Roach Infestation. I have had them come in my place to bomb numerous times. But the staff doesn't take it serious. From last year to this year again they were just worse. At first the bombing company worked, but then it stopped doing anything regarding the roaches. I've complained several times, and they make it seem like there's nothing further they can do. They are so worried about planting a flower patch in the… entrance part, but still trying to move people in with roaches crawling around. It doesn't help that some neighbors are just nasty and don't care about it enough to complain. But my neighbor, before I moved told me, they were in the office with a lady who was supposedly going to move in across the street from my row. She said that lady cussed them out so bad asking them to give her money back because of the roaches she saw! It's terrible living conditions and they don't care, as long as they get paid! For a starting 2 bedroom it's great for a person, couple, or family of three (MAX) starting out or recently moving into the area. Any more people and it will get tight fast. I never had any major issues to my unit and when I needed something fixed the maintenance staff took care of it within the week. The front staff is very friendly and honest too which I really appreciated.

Best parts about this place: A close by baseball field and neighborhoods to walk my dog in. The staff. And the free… water. That's about it
Not so great parts: Very hard to keep warm and cool due to lack of insulation and the air unit only cools the living room and kitchen area, not so great for the bedrooms. Kitchen doesn't have much to offer if you like to cook. You're better off ordering in than having no counter space and only one sink for dishes.
Worst Parts: The trash and dog poop are out of control here. A lot of the people who live here seem to have stayed a while but you wouldn't know if from all the garbage throughout the complex. The absolute worst part though was the price gouging. My first year was great for pricing, but then they upped the lease amount the next year. Now they want to bump it up again and make me pay a service fee every time I pay rent. Um no. For not having ANY kind of amenities (no dishwasher, no pool, no playground, no monthly gatherings, no real perks or on property amenities) they're asking for too much in my opinion. This was the final straw that made me want to move.

My final thoughts on the property are, affordable when starting out and great location to explore downtown and experience living on your own for the first time. But it definitely isn't a place that I would raise a family or stay longer than 2 years at because of prices, crime, and trash. Read More
