Save yourself the headache

Please save yourself the headache and don't bother with this place. Worst apartment-living experience I have ever had.

I'll paint a picture for you which includes an awful mold situation that would have been neglected, ignored maintenance requests, smoke-filled hallways, and much more.

Parking can be an absolute pain. There were broken-down cars sitting in the parking lot the entire time I lived there, some of which took up multiple spaces. It was sometimes impossible to find parking because...
of this, especially in the winter time, leaving some of us to have to park in the grass. Though they have signs saying you will be towed, it never happened. They didn't even stay on top of stickers.

People always left the front doors open so anyone could just walk in, and it happened regularly.

The neighbors across the hall filled the building up with smoke. In the winter, you could hardly breathe without coughing or feeling nauseous. Though we complained about this, nothing was ever done about it except for them cracking a window.

Maintenance requests were constantly neglected. We had dripping faucets and bubbling sinks that we wanted fixed, but they wouldn't bother.

There's also a lot of little things. The walls were so thin you could hear the neighbor's phone vibrate, let alone full conversations. There's only two washing machines for the whole building so you'd have to wash clothes at the most random times. We had random men yelling at and tapping on our window constantly.

The cherry on top though was the terrible mold situation. After a long winter and lots of rain, I noticed my kitchen flooding. I thought at first it was a refrigerator issue but when I pulled away the baseboard, black mold was all over--even growing up the wall behind the fridge. When I mentioned it to management, they said they would fix the grading but said nothing about the mold. When I pushed harder that this was a HEALTH ISSUE they said that they'd come scrub it. I had to keep pushing, mentioned I would contact the health dept and BBB, and they finally agreed to replace the drywall. Knowing that would not help the mold that was most likely to build behind the drywall, I had to continue to push that they move me. It was an absolute headache and after so much back and forth, they finally did.

If you want to avoid the stress of a terrible living situation, don't even consider this place.
