Wouldn't recommend

I went with this apartment and thought it would be a great choice and it was until I accepted a job in another state and had to move out early. Since there was only one month left I decided to keep paying rent here until my lease was done. Everything was communicated on my end and my keys were turned in prior to leaving with the understanding that I would pay the last month and that would be it. Now I am receiving emails and calls that I walked away from my lease early when I didn't. There is no… communication on their end and if you do want to leave the lease early you have to pay $3000 and the rest of the month if they cant lease it before yours is over. With only one month being left, I chose to keep it and communicate that to the staff and they are absolutely no help.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Very unhappy when I needed assistance.

Management has not remedied the issue with the dog in the unit directly above me. I therefore find myself waking up at terrible times, such as 1:45am, 5am, etc. My sleep has suffered because of this. According to management, the dog owner was cited multiple times by the police prior to my moving in, yet no one ever told me of this before I signed my lease. Management also swore that the dog would be removed from the property. This was an untruth. Further,management has actually had the… audacity to question whether there really was a problem or not.

I DO NOT recommend Lake Jonathan Flats.
