Edgerton Manor

Edgerton Manor has been our home for about 3 years - We could not be happier about the choice we made. What makes this place such a great apartment to live in, is the attention to detail the management has for all the tenants concerns and issues. Brooke has been a great manager for us and honestly as someone who has lived in a apartment all of my life, I can truly say she is truly one of the best. She responds well to emails and any questions we may have about anything in our apartments. She… takes safety very seriously which gives our family an extra sense of security and well being living here. On top of all of this, she goes above an beyond for residents by leaving gifts during the holidays for each family which means she cares about the people she serves.

Maintence requests are done in a timely manner. Neil and Reagan (The Mx guys) have always been courteous and polite taking care of all our service issues. They always go above and beyond our expectations and complete everything with the utmost professional fashion.

We really enjoy living here, a minor complaint of mine is the the gym area, I wish they would frost the main windows to give the gym more privacy when working as noted by the other reviewer. This is especially true at night, you can see out to the street. Having the prospect of someone looking at tenants when they workout outside the building is a bit eerie but I think would be an easy fix for the windows. I would say also that I would wish that the laundry facilities would go to a card system, having to get coins every two weeks can be a chore since I don't use the bank for anything else. There is card system technology where you can upload funds to cards online and utilizing an issued card by management. I think this would be a HUGE upgrade.

Overall, we are very happy we found Edgerton Manor here in Maplewood, in my opinion, it is one of the best in the city! We are so thankful to have found this place and will continue to recommend this complex to our friends looking for a great place to call home! Read More

I have been here for about 3 years now and we love Edgerton Manor.

The process of obtaining the apartment was clear and easy. We booked a tour and then applied right away. The process was explained to us thoroughly and Brooke answered our questions.

The building is built either before or during the 1970's. It definitely has a 70's feel to it but a lot of the apartments have been remodeled. There is central a/c in each apartment and we really love that! That means no need to plug an extra a/c… in a window during the summers.

Our property manager, Brooke, does an excellent job keeping up with our apartment requests, complaints, and maintenance issues. She is always on top of her work. I can tell she takes her job seriously as if she's living here! I love how she treats us as family, but yet still very professionally because she really cared about our safety, addressing complaints, and resolving any problems we have in a timely manner. Having a good property manager is a make it or break it deal for us.

Icy sidewalks? Brooke will take care of that.
Complaints about noises or odors? Brooke will take care ofthat.
Safety and security concerns? Brooke handles all of it.
Water problems? Brooke will answer to that even on her days off to make sure there is no water problem!

We've heard it from other neighbors that Brooke is strict on everyone following the community rules and other tenant guidelines, but we all agree that she is simply doing her job professionally, making Edgerton one of the most securest apartments on this side of Maplewood!

All the amenities of Edgerton Manor is great: Gym, underground parking, Library, free coffee and snacks on the first level, trash chutes on every floor, extra storage rooms, the beautiful courtyard, and shared laundry room on every level... these are some amenities I enjoy having.

Another great thing about Edgerton Manor is being close to the Gateway Trail. If you love to walk and bike, the trail is just down the street. Also, Edgerton Park is south of it, and there is a circle trail you can exercise close by.

Now here are the cons:
- the laundry machines are coin-operated
- thin walls
- allergies
- see-through windows in the gym. I wish there could be some sort of blurring to the windows. So, if you're like me, who likes your own privacy, go to the gym super early when no one is around.

I have lived at Edgerton since 2005. Now, as then, the property, is well managed. Problems are dealt with promptly. I've never had a problem with any of the managers.
The current manager, Brooke, is friendly, and is prompt in handling any concern I bring to her.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Edgerton to a friend.
