Honest Review: Six Years of Living with Convenience and Safety Concerns

I lived in this apartment for about six years, and I want to share my honest experience to help others make an informed decision.

Positives: The location is great. It’s close to downtown, and there are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The rent is fairly affordable compared to other places in the area, which is a nice bonus.

Negatives: Unfortunately, safety is a big concern. During my stay, there were multiple incidents such as robbery at gunpoint, theft of auto parts, vandalism...
, and drug activity. The fire alarm also went off randomly at any time, which was very disruptive. Package theft, especially Amazon deliveries, was common, and vehicles in the paid parking lot were often vandalized. People frequently smoked in the hallways and stairwells, and loud music outside apartment doors was a nightly problem.

The rent kept increasing at the end of every lease term, and utilities were not included in the rent, so they had to be paid separately. While the staff was efficient at collecting rent and sending notices, they often mixed up information during inspections, leading to charges that were hard to verify.

Overall, this was my experience over six years. I hope this helps you make a well-informed decision. Good luck!
