Minnehaha Manor

The experience is as good as the tenant is. I have lived here for almost a year, and I have not had an issue with anything. The exterior is nice and the parking is never an issue (they do tow non-tenants after 9PM if you do not have a guest pass). When it comes to the interior, it is a little dated, and could use some TLC on the pipes/vents and bathrooms (lots of dust build up). Some units are updated, and are reasonable for the rent. Only downside is the noise from the traffic outside and some… hallway noises from people going up and down the stairwells. None the less, you get use to the noise (well I did). The management of the complex has never been an issue; I pay my bills on time an contact them if I have a concern. I am a little confused as to the negative reviews I see about how "horrible" the management is. They are not horrible, and I am sure the negativity in the reviews is a result from a tenant who simply does not get their way or was penalized for breaching the lease contract terms. The location is awesome as it is located near two brand new grocery stores and gas stations; it is also close to the highway (far away from the highway noise though). It meets expectations and is fairly priced. Me neighbors are fairly considerate, so I do not have any issues there. I do not use the washing machines, so I am not much help there. The water is fine, and the showers pressure is a little low, but in the winter, my heat is very warm (sometimes too warm), and that is a great problem to have when its super cold outside. Overall, I enjoy it here, and recommend it as a great starter apartment. As I previously mentioned, if you are a good and respectful tenant towards management, your experience will be reciprocated. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the suburbs this is the apartment for you. Although all ages live here, including children, you'd never know it. Tenants are quiet, respectful of others and do their part to maintain the aesthetics of the property; you never see trash or junk strewn about in common areas or outside. The apartment is easy walking distance to a convenience store as well as a major grocery store. The freeway is 2 blocks away, giving easy access to shopping, business and… anything else you want in the city. It's a great, quiet place to live! Read More

This is a great place if you are looking for friendly staff who know you on a first name basis and if you're looking to stay out of the twin cities, but close enough you can quickly commute to the cities if you desire. Minnehaha Manor is a quiet community with friendly tenants and within walking distance to grocery stores, gas stations, entertainment, and dining without being in the city.

Been here for 3 years. Office staff are very polite and respectful, and are gladly happy to assist you immediately. Maintenance is on top of everything. Community is very convenient to stores, parks, and movie attractions.
